About Studio Propeller

Studio Propeller curate, develop, manage, and produce projects with the creative and design sector. We deliver events, exhibitions, workshops, publications, business tools, and strategy. Our projects are self-initiated or developed in partnership with a network of collaborators, institutions, education, industry and government.

Studio Propeller was formed in Melbourne in 2006 by Creative Director Ewan McEoin. The studio draws upon strong networks and great collaborative relationships both nationally and internationally to enable the activation and production of projects that can enhance and stimulate the Australian design industry, or activate new international exhibition or business opportunities within the design and creative sector.

Ewan McEoin is a leading creative director, editor, writer and strategist in design. He is Creative Director of the State of Design Festival, Director of Design Laboratory, joint Director of the Springboard Project and the Australian Design Unit, and Co-Editor of the 2008 Melbourne and Sydney Design Guides.
