For Sydney Design Week 2006 lighting retailer Euroluce commissioned us to create an event that focused on design integrity but stepped away from traditional exhibitions about products and the celebration of objects.

Working with Euroluce and Mark Gowing Design, we developed an exhibition concept that brought together quotes and inspirational thoughts from 50 of the world’s leading designers.

This text was applied to large cardboard boxes – creating a simple and low-cost large-scale installation in one of Sydney Theatre Company’s theatre spaces. The result was a textural and immersive environment to celebrate the thinking behind the design process.

The exhibition and associated event were entitled ‘Script – a reminder of founding principles for designers’
